This full day workshop with Dr. Philip Kendall will begin with a brief review of the theory that guides intervention for treating anxiety in youth. The majority of the day will be spent exploring intervention strategies that comprise CBT for anxiety in youth described and illustrated with case examples. A computer-assisted program (Camp Cope-A-Lot) and a web-based parent training program (ChildAnxietyTales) will also be described. Research outcomes that inform the provision of clinical services for anxious youth will be considered.
