TCHS Brandywine to host Canine Blood Drive
The Veterinary Sciences and Animal Sciences programs at TCHS Brandywine are proud to partner with the University of Pennsylvania's Penn Animal Blood Bank to host a canine blood drive.
Each unit of donated blood helps to save the life of one, two or three critically ill dogs. Many dogs require a blood transfusion to survive during surgery, following trauma, or when they are suffering from anemia or bleeding disorders such as hemophilia.
If your dog has a good temperment,
weighs between 55 and 150 pounds, is between 1 and 6 years old and is in
excellent health, he or she may be eligible to give! Click here for full qualification details
